@caitlinburke Voters, poor people, I have a feeling they are all lumped into one big group in his brain. The only thing that matters to him is that neither group can get into Mar a Lago.
this is a good example of data not directly comparable, at least in this context. eg. the two massively disproportionate causes are also major aging associated diseases. (few of the other big ones too) now that is not to say many of these are not preventable, but (looking at the numbers) the chart includes all deaths, all of natural causes, and more poignantly everyone dying "of old age". That's not an actual cause of course, but just to illustrate that a large part are not preventable really. It would be some tens of per cent of total, probably. There's a popularly quoted study that estimates the aging related deaths to 90%, but I understand that they included stuff like car accidents due to slowed response times etc, so that's kinda silly too. I wanna make it clear that I'm not trying to say that his policies are not fucking idiotic, because they are, but you can present the argument in a way that's not easy to dismiss. That's just on the very surface level of these kinds of stats. because health is such a major part here, there's like a endless row of cans of worms to open. "deaths" might not be the starting place for comparison at all, honestly
Fucker.
