My husband has this piece in a show starting tonight!

The show is at Engine in Biddeford, ME. It's called "PAIN UNPLUGGED: Honoring the Emotional Journey of Chronic Pain and Addiction."
My husband has experience with both. He did this painting shortly after getting off heroin in 2008, only to be diagnosed with MS in 2010. He's just now ready to start showing/selling pieces, so this is a big step.

P.S. I know a lot of mlkshkers are programmers, so I've been a little embarrassed to post any of my husband's art to my shk because I did his website with my limited html skills, and I know the code looks awful to anyone who knows what they're doing. I got it to size correctly on smartphones, which is the very upper limit of my skills. If it works but it's stupid, etc.

And the opening went super well. The gallery owner said this was her favorite piece in the show and recommended a local critique group to my husband. He was so happy to have gone. I had to convince him at the very last minute to actually go (to which he said, "Fine. But I'm not changing!"), but it was SO worth it.
And thanks for sharing.
