The Blurst of Times

I built a little genetic algorithms riff on the monkeys-with-typewriters idea this weekend called The Blurst of Times. Here's a shot of it right after the monkeys have spent 590 generations evolving the ability to type one of the most important words in the English language.

But it turned out that for "fun toy to play with" purposes tracking the names of each generation wasn't really interesting, and besides that the nature of the genes and algorithm I used means one particular strain tends to become dominant early and stay that way, so mostly you'd just be looking at Nell, Daughter of Nell, Granddaughter of Nell if you could see the names.
