So instead of going to work on Alcatraz today I went to see Star Trek Into Darkness… and this happened.

That's my grandpa, second from the right. The rest are my great uncles. They lived about 1/2 mile from the Carter Family, played around the region like them, but WWII ended their illustrious career as an actual band of brothers.

One of them, Eddie, went on to an illustrious career in Nashville radio.
