The juxtaposition is amusing, but there are few things that anger me more than a motorist intentionally injuring a cyclist. The driver here, Ricardo Neis, injured 15 cyclist and put eight in the emergency room. Their only crime was participation in a critical mass ride to raise awareness of cyclists' vulnerability.

Exactly right, Une_croix! And "having the right" to ride your bicycle in the road will not save your life when a 5,000 hunk of metal hits you from behind - for WHATEVER reason. It will not matter to you WHY the person hit you, stupid is stupid and dead is dead. PROTECT YOURSELF.
