I took out quite a few prizes over the weekend.

Here is what I did and sang.

1st - National Operatic Aria:
Round 1: Aria di Berenice from L'occasione fa il ladro by Rossini
Final round: No word from Tom from The Rakes Progress by Stravinsky, then a repeat of my round 1 aria to seal the deal!

1st - German Lieder ("Gretchen am spinnrade" by Schubert)

1st - English Art Song ("Let the florid Music Praise" by Benjamin Britten

1st - Art Song Prize (best overall in all art song sections)

2nd - French Melodie ("Romance" by Debussy)

2nd - Oratorio ("Rejoice Greatly" from Handel's Messiah)
