I'm super famous in India.
Photos of me (Maya) in India 2012-2013. I have dozens similar from this trip, and many more from previous trips to the subcontinent. In places with a lot of Indian tourists (India Gate, holy sites like Omkareshwar), I've been asked for photos with people as many as 50x in one day. Sometimes I ask the photographer to take one with my camera as well.

i am in nepal (india kicked me out after 180 days!) and will return soon!

The origin is a mystery to me, but it makes sense that it comes from a professional and educational film!

Dinner
cooked by me in bangalore india, 5 january 2012 (2013! first typo of the year!)
(except the chapattis- i can't do that)
menu- daal, yellow rice, pata gobi subzi (cabbage), chicken dopiaza (double onion), salad, chapatis (lflour tortillas)

The chicken recipe as best I can remember
mash a decent hunk (1.5-2")ginger and a lot of garlic
1t tumeric at least
2t red chili powder with some red chili flakes at least
roughly chop and mash 1 small onion
1T oil
maybe a bit of water
mix that up and rub it over and into maybe 1lb of chicken- with or without bones, that you have washed and cut into pieces- 3" or so
leave it to marinate
...
fry as many green chilies as you like with medium thin strips of onion
when the onion starts to brown or even blacken a little bit add the chicken
when the chicken is pretty much done, add one green pepper cut into small strips and a bunch of tomatoes in big chunks
cook until peppers are done, add salt to taste and enjoy!
