This is my friend, Maarten.

He has been diagnosed with a brain tumor two years ago. He has had surgery and chemo and radiation therapy and he's doing ok, although the 5-year prognosis is pretty lousy.

Now he's asked me to participate in a thing called 'Bergentocht', or 'mountain-ride' (HAHA a Dutch mountain ride...) which is a hiking, cycling, whatever tour in order to show support for cancer survivors, and raise some money for brain cancer research.

So, now i'd like you to support this worthy cause, by giving any small or large amount you can. The website is all in fucking Dutch, so I'll help you.

2. click on 'steun mij' right there in the middle of the page. It means 'support me'
3. then you fill in your Voornaam (first name), Achternaam (last name), E-mail (email, it's not hard this dutch), Bedrag (amount you want to donate), and paypal for your Betaalmethode (payment method)
4. you can leave a message if you want in the "Boodschap voor op de persoonlijke actie pagina van de deelnemer" field
5. click 'Volgende' (next)
6. you'll be directed to a Paypal login page
7. presto!
