I love nerd humor, but nerds predate the current "geeks are sexy" trend. Old school nerds FTW, nothing but. Besides that I just dig clever humor and amazing natural pictures. Bonus points for awesome band references.
I wouldn't expect you to sit through a shaky 1 hour 53 minute video, but if you're a fan of Pink Floyd's "The Wall" you must at least skip through some of this video. I just caught Roger's first show of the North America tour last night. I have NEVER seen a show with visuals like this. The sheer technology required is baffling. Puppets, who knows how many projectors, GE Smith of SNL fame on guitar... this was unbelievable, and will be the high water mark for future shows.
Daniel Suelo lives in caves in the canyonlands of Utah. He survives by harvesting wild foods and eating roadkill.
He has no job, no bank account and does not accept government welfare. In fact, Suelo has no money at all.
Suelo may have shunned all the trappings of modern American life, but he is not an isolationist.
Since abandoning money in 2000, the former cook from Moab, Utah has remained an active member of his community and avid blogger.
Mark Sundeen, author of The Man Who Quit Money, admits many people would regard Suelo's alternative lifestyle as bizarre. But the 2008 financial crash has led many to question the value of money. He explains some of the lessons found in Suelo's philosophy.
Ages ago, I made this stop motion video instead of studying for college. I've always enjoyed the goofiness of their movements, and set to odd sound effects it's even better: in the big fight scene there's breaking glass, rolling dice, a clip of Curly of the Three Stooges yelling when struck, and a clip of Bruce Lee.
Funny note: In 2001 I tried to submit this to CollegeHumor.com. They couldn't host it as it was "too big." 17.8 mb was too big back then, hard to believe eh?
A full nine-minutes of Conan talking with 343 Industries' Kiki Wolfkill and Frank O'Connor about Halo 4. At the end they do voices. The entire thing is hilarious if you're a Halo fan, and oddly enough the voices they do sound great! Hopefully they make it in the final version?
