Studies in male profiles, from Albrecht Dürer’s Vier Bücher von Menschlicher Proportion (Four Books on Human Proportion) (1528), transformed by what I call PROFILOGRAPHY—a method of tracing and extrusion through sequential profiles. The machine is made from 3D printed shells, mounted to laser-cut aluminum structure, rotating on a motorized spindle. First made in 2008 for exhibition at the University of Michigan.

My yard before I cleared the sidewalk this morning. None of this snow was here when I went to bed. That lump of snow out on the street is my car.

Granted, I say this from the safety and comfort of the Bay Area, but I kinda miss snow. I'm sure shoveling my driveway and sidewalk would cure me of that, but I do get little pangs.
