Housemate alerted me this morning to the fact that the trellis in the backyard lost a support. We had the same rot happen to the front fencing, which property mgmt. took over a year (maybe 2?) to actually get fixed. That was because of some property-line shared fence with a neighbor who didn't want to go in 50% or something. Now this is actually in the backyard, and was over the propane grill which we moved out of the way. It is still bolted to the side of the house and we won't be seeing anyone until later this week, and then who knows how long until repairs.
Based off that last beer & sriracha braised chicken thighs, I seared off some tri-tip steaks to mid-rare, and let rest while I combined the sauce ingredients (with dijon mustard instead of hoisin sauce this time) scallions and mushrooms and reduced until ready to cover rested steaks. side of sauteed asparagus.
Found http://appetiteforchina.com/recipes... linked off a local craft beer store's website, and gave it a try. Changed out hoisin for worcestershire sauce. Side of spanish rice pilaf and mixed greens with feta and grape tomatoes.
