This is for engineering and demolition work, not mines. The hull doesn't provide nearly that level of protection, it is armored for multiple small arms hits. The blade is the wrong type, it would pile the mines right in front, and way too close to critical components.

@XYLENE is correct, however, one can always attach a mine plowing blade or a flail instead of the blade featured in the photo. The bulldozers are more suitable for engineering work in combat conditions and will occasionally set off or clear mines but a more efficient approach is to attach a mine-clearing device to a tank used in conjunction with a firing a MICLIC over the desired area: http://www.youtube.com/watch... In the video you can see bulldozers first clearing an area and then allowing the tanks to do their work. From personal experience, stay away from the MICLIC thingees. They are inherently dangerous and make a lot of noise if detonated while draping the lightly armored vehicle you happen to be sitting in.
