how I feel when explaining the truth about K-cups and Nespresso pods to folks.
1) you're paying upwards of $100 for a chintzy piece of chromed plastic with a tiny heating element that spittles water through the plastic cup. if you want one with a blue LED it might cost 3x that.
2) the coffee pods/capules/k'ups these things consume have between 7-12 grams of very stale, preground, low grade coffee that you are paying $30-60 a pound for.
