Do you use Chrome? My gifs stopped working on that for awhile. It was about to be a browser dealbreaker until it spontaneously resolved itself.

My chrome too, I usually open the image in a new tab and it animates.

@Klathrin @travis someone's mine sticks as well but all I have to do is select the gif (like you select text on a webpage) and it animates fine.

@Klathrin @mrangrygrandpa yeah I use chrome, I just click on the image and then it works. When it first started happening I just thought that some really boring pictures were getting a lot of likes :)

@mrangrygrandpa @JacobJingleheimer All of my issues resolved after I switched away from Chrome for about 2 weeks--when I came back everything worked again. I don't think I updated anything, so I have no clue what fixed it. Maybe the internet gods thought I'd done sufficient penance by using Firefox for that long?

@Klathrin Chrome auto updates in the background so you always get the latest/greatest without having to manually go through the process. This is something that all browsers should strive for.
