Mom's flip-flops
Was looking for something else on Flickr when I ran across this pic of my mom's flip-flops that she'd kicked off on her deck one spring day in 2007. (That's a film image, taken with my Diana camera.)
She passed away at the end of 2010, and this little nostalgic glimpse kinda choked me up. It sucks when grief ambushes you like that.

I lost my mom in 1998, and one thing that really got me was finding her beat up house slippers while I was cleaning out her bedroom.
