I always thought those were uncomfortable. Never understood the advantage.
Brock favors them.
It's a lot easier to slide in and out of the seat with one of those as opposed to just the fuzzy fabric upholstery.
However, if you value your velvet clothes, you will avoid these things like the plague (trust me).
