Nothing tastes as good...
Fact: no-one has ever smiled whist running! Maybe after you cross the finishing line and you're OK to then stop running.
False, actually, but if you are the kind of person that could never smile while running, that's OK - running as a form of exercise is not compulsory.
i'm fine with all of this EXCEPT TOE SHOES.
But ... but her smug is in there!!
@rob Oh those are godawful. WTH?
I smile at people when I exercise, whether it be running, cycling etc. I think it's awesome that people are out there, doing something positive, I love it. Granted, I am more inclined to smile and/or wave/nod/throw a shaka, etc at older people (who have prolly been way fitter for way longer than I have) or those who are doing something unusual or people who seem open to a smile. I live in a major city and I know what it's like to feel like "what's this weirdo saying hello for ?", but for some reason I feel like exercising creates a bond that allows me to smile at other people, so I do :D
@komakino That was definitely not the trend anywhere I lived in the Pacific Northwest and Northern California, but people are very friendly and smiley here in Baltimore - exercising or otherwise. It's nice.

@caitlinburke it's definitely not the trend here either (Parisians are initially very guarded), but seeing people exercise makes me happy, I can't help myself !
