this particular popup would have triggered an infield fly rule were the circumstances correct. That's how shallow this pop up was. It was like 10 feet off the dirt. He's stupid fast. It's just a damn shame he can't hit his weight. Speed is useless if you can't get on base. Which begs the question, why are the Reds using their worst hitter to bat leadoff? They keep this up, Joey Votto might -might- get 70 RBI.
@thicklikecornbread I'm not personally a Reds fan and I live in Chicago. I've never been to TGAB, but I know it's pretty cozy, I'm betting the upper deck anywhere on the infield side will provide you with a pretty good view.
@cmcmahon lovely. i'm from chicago though live in stl now. happy to meet up for a ballgame in CLE, CIN, STL or perhaps even CHI this summer. was hoping to see the new forbes field in PIT but i don't feel that it will line up.
