It has been physically impossible for me to carpool to any job I've ever had. None of my coworkers are anywhere near me. There is also not a whiff of public transportation that approaches within 30 miles of my house.
@RGPphotog I like driving, too. You're right about the people who hate to drive and the 9-5. There's an extra-wide intersection near where I live that's challenging at rush hour. One time (among many) I stopped on a green light because there was no more space on the other side. The truck behind me honked at me and I looked in my rearview and saw the driver doing a possessed head rattle/shake with fists banging on the steering wheel. I was like, whoa, if this person gets out of that truck... Then I looked over and there's a kid in the passenger seat just staring at the driver. I lost a little more hope for our future.
