do it
Interesting discussion on NPR the other day about this. Some experts are saying that the car radio listener demographic is being quickly replaced by people talking on their cell phones. Not only do people not listen to the radio at home anymore, they don't even listen in the car. I'm a big NPR fan, but I have to admit to talking on my cell phone instead sometimes.
@TheStorm gross i never talk on the phone, much less while driving
@dantsypants - Well, for what it's worth, I do try to avoid talking on the phone while driving; one, I'm not the best driver in the world and I talk with my hands anyway, and two I'm easily distracted, so doing so is kinda dangerous. The truth is, though, there just aren't enough hours in the day and I can still be a little productive in the car, so I do it. I miss NPR sometimes, though, and will not answer calls if I'm enjoying a story. (I rarely initiate calls in the car, except maybe to the gf.)
