Harsh decision from the judges - I felt that Meares leaned in first, forcing Vicky to lean back which ultimately caused her to come out the sprint lane. But that's track sprinting I suppose.

and this is the first leg of the final - not the winning margin or anything. this race was originally given to VP until they spotted that she came out her lane and was relegated.

I'll stop now - I just felt sorry for her in her final race.

Plus she's hot

@cocovan, after I posted it I realised that it wasn't the last race, but hey, it's a close finish, so we won't let facts get in the way of the story.

The great thing about sport is that there rarely is a fairy tale finish. Makes them all that more sweet when they do happen.

From an Australian perspective, I didn't think Meares was at fault, but hey, that's why we have judges.
