Undutchable

My dad and I went to the Maritime Museum in Amsterdam - a great place with a well-curated collection. The WTF moment came when we found this giant, abandoned interactive element that allowed you to create a digital scene using items from the museum by placing them onto a background, additionally adding text if you liked. The whole thing was motioned-controlled by using your hands in a giant UI that was projected from the ceiling onto a huge table, a la Minority Report. When you're done you send the finished file to another room and it projects your image onto a massive screen (approx. 8m wide and 5m tall).

The problem? The UI is so clunky and unresponsive, the images created so banal and idiotic, I don't think any but the smallest of children would be interested in this extremely expensive, ridiculous setup. Of course, my father and I went through the whole process and laughed our asses off at the end result. Here is my dad posing in front of a portion of his masterpiece.

Now you may proceed to make weed jokes.
