My grandpa used to fill a five gallon pail with fertilizer and spread it all over his garden by hand. Then he'd go out and spray everything with insecticide. Whatever that didn't kill, he'd have me go out and pick off by hand and dump into a coffee can filled with kerosene. Organic my ass.
