Is it weird that I liked the dial-up sound?

I miss it.....just like I miss the windows 95 defrag.....it was like watching waves or traffic....going line by line

@falconwing I used to alway keep a novel or a sketchbook by the computer so that I had something to do while the pages were loading. Still, there's a certain sense of nostalgia, primarily I think, because I was in college, so it's more of a general nostalgia.

@fouronenone Yeah, I remember that. Once you got cable/dsl the speed was so amazing...and addictive. Could never go back to dial up. (spoiled)Though, isnt it nice not to have those AOL discs coming at your house 4 or 5 times a week?

@falconwing Absolutely. I still find them from time to time, mixed in with other things. They were beyond useless, especially as we used Netscape. >.<

I use it as my phone ringtone haha

AOL Discs, damn there those and Compuserve ones all the time.

Whenever i miss that noise, i dial my fax number and get refreshed.
