In the college freshman dining hall, the students (me and others) would mine the marshmallows, leaving the depleted uranium esque gusty hard pieces in bowls... (which the managers would dump back, leaving nearly marshmallo free Lucky Charms in the canister.
I fulfilled my dream of an all marshmello bowl. At a price. To others.
Although I cannot speak for my cadre, myself, I now make less diabetes inducing cereal choices.
More farce than tragedy (especially if you had seen the manager.)
For ~23 odd dollars a day of meals, my full schedule of of classes and full time work rarely permitted me to eat a fraction of... I can assure you I was not eating them out of my meal plan in marshmellos even if they had been sanitary and thrown away the 75% unwanted cereal.
