I'm all for this sort of thing (being a cutthroat partisan and all that) but isn't the point of a blind trust such that you have no control over where your assets go?
This point of this exercise is that Romney 1) is far wealthier than he lets on, 2) he stores that wealth in foreign countries, almost certainly in order to 3) dodge US taxes.
If you don't disclose your assets, it simply looks like you have something to hide. Romney's caginess regarding his finances is sort of understandable, but it also happens to be unprecedented for a US presidential candidate. Part of the process is that you disclose your income and assets; if you don't want to disclose your assets, that's fine, but don't run for public office.
