guess that's why they released it in two separate volumes in japan!

finally finished it a couple days ago, it was basically the only thing i carried around in my bag for a couple months there.

I never do this, but I bought it as an iBook so that I could just read it on my iPad/iPhone. I had just finished carrying around Stephenson's REAMDE for a few weeks and I didn't want to deal with carrying around a gigantic volume and renewing at the library a million times.

(still only just beginning Book 2)
