When I was a kid, I was freaked out by these at the aquarium. I was staring into a tank, looking intently at a lobster inside, and one of these moved into view from outside my peripheral vision, and I screamed like a banshee.
They look a lot smaller once you're an adult, and they're on your plate. ;)
