It's true that a lot of Siamese Cats are neurotic....I also think a lot of them become that way because these very intelligent cats (as far as cats go) get crazy out of boredom.

My Siamese did this exact thing... while I was on vacation... for 3 weeks. Came back to a horror show in my kitchen with all the rotten and defrosted food.
