How much money has been sunk into CERN? Jesus. I'm not saying what they are doing isn't important, but a billion dollar project should be creating SKYNET not Memes.

Hey hey, they're looking into the Higgs boson and I for one really want to know what they find out. Damn the costs!

@annterland you could be right, I'm talking out of turn. I told some friends that traveling faster than the speed of light was at least 'possible' because CERN proved it (which now I just look like an ass) I'm not that familiar with Higgs boson only that it's important, has to do with mass, and they are having a rough time detecting it in the collider.

@Crisssy101 I think they're actually getting some very promising data about the Higgs Boson.

I wonder if the Higgs Boson will fix global warming or alleviate our antiquated reliance on fossil fuels.

@NickSeam ...I don't know, but if you can figure out why gravity works, that opens up a whole level of science and engineering to profit from.
