"Drive," 2011

A candy-colored noir that's both restrained and violent. I liked this a lot, and agree with all that's been said about the soundtrack- music and sound design were excellent in this film. The story lacked any real "peak" moments, but made up for it with a solid, parable-like tone throughout.
