If Memory Serves, I created this image to commemorate the closure of Lance Arthur's Glassdog Club. Pictured are CUJoe (me!), Dangerman (Dan Beauchamp, founder of the also-gone Redcricket community), a dude named Sikk (who had some sort of punk rock web community and used to talk about how silly it was for people to use "secure" passwords to sign up for web boards), The Blogfather (Matt Haughey) himself, and two other people whose names I don't remember, but who sent me images to include in the GDC OGs image... You'll note that I'm pouring out a 12 of orange soda, instead of a more traditional 40 of malt liquor. That's just how I roll.
Walk me through your artistic process here? The liquid is photoshopped, but did you ask people to send you a picture holding a bottle?
I've never seen a screenshot turned into a stage like that before. I'm impressed with your creativity. I particularly like the blurring of the logo downstage left.
The liquid was enhanced, but everyone sent in a photo of themselves pouring one out for their dead homies (or dead web community). I'm not sure I could fully walk you through it, since it's like a decade old at this point - but it's amazing what a copy of photoshop and some free time will do for you!
@andre I'm going to pretend you just added that functionality for my benefit, snce that is much nicer than beng forced into the recognition that I am that I am an idiot.
