These guys are a great example of the essential divide that article talks about: approaching society in terms of shit we already know how to do and have done versus saying "yeah, but this totally new thing that doesn't exist yet will make all the difference."
Yeah @BennyTheIcepick and yeah yeah @caitlinburke however, I think that what helps me (at least, personally) a lot with all this nonsense is that I more or less have one foot in the formerly-known-as-developing world and that's a great reality check and wake up call, always, from the hyper reality bubble these folks live in.
plus, now i think its deliberate to not notice the homogeneity when all these faces laid out together in a rectangle by media that then hopes to reach out to more eyeballs than their little clique can offer.
