I wish somebody would show this graphic every time Travis Kalanick or some other Uberdouche makes noise about how their business model – slave driven or otherwise – will somehow improve big-city congestion or is better for the environment.
@Lord_John_Whorfin While I am loathe to agree with an Uber-douche, @beejamin sees it exactly as I do, that you only use your car maybe at most 20% of a given day, and sans ownership, and thus the need the park to store, park, and garage any of these vehicles, not only would you need 80% fewer of the vehicles themselves, but also a commensurate amount of lanes, parking spaces, lots, structures, etc. In Southern California, where I think both of us live, space for human-powered traffic, housing, and liberal-topian hippie business explode...literally in seconds, with no effort, for free. Amen.
