@robotsalad Sweet potatoes have a lower glycemic index than servings of other starchy foods. I can't explain avocado, though.
@ardgedee Fair, but not much better than whole grain toast... and really not something a healthy, active individual should be worrying about.
not to mention, where do people get this idea that potatoes and avocados are simply 'healthier' than bread?
