First cat's a metaphor for the American public under the Trump/Bannon regime, except instead of another cat, it's goddamn all-out war or another economic meltdown or both, except this time without avoiding the abyss.
The Tweets and even the executive orders nonsense are alarming and appalling, but we need to keep our eye on these motherfuckers' truly destabilizing actions, like permanently reorganizing the NSC. Bannon's stated goal is to bring down the U.S. government as we know it, and beyond, the existing world order.
@caitlinburke It's possible I'm just being optimistic, but my best guess is kitty is jumping from a higher piece of furniture or maybe a cat tree.
I opened the GIF in photoshop (so I can see frame by frame) and kitty is definitely fully outstretched mid-jump with back legs behind, just like its leaping from something. Kitty also is watching the bird the entire time during the jump.
So I think we can laugh at a cat being a dumb cat guilt free. My cats would do exactly the same thing, I'd guess these cats do this all the time which is why they were filming.
Ah, I guess the cat is pulling his back legs forward because of an overshoot. Yes, I agree that however this happened it probably happens all the time. I do not believe that any cats were harmed in the making of this viral gif :)
