pipe minimal progress

May or may not stick with that name, but the fact that the whole thing is intentionally built out of just a straight and a curvy bit of piping feels on point.
This is Actual Font Output, which is exciting; FontForge is pretty intimidating but I'm getting the hang of the basics at least, and was able to put together the lowercase set of letters this morning without too much hair-tearing.
No uppercase, numerals, punctuation, etc yet -- I've got sketches for most of that but have to draw 'em out in FontForge still. Not totally clear to me whether I'll be better off in the long run drawing in FontForge or drawing in Inkscape and importing, because boy FF feels fiddly in a lot of ways and bogs down a lot, but being in the native environment probably has benefits in terms of avoiding compatability headaches and such.
