I loved that movie until the last 15 minutes shattered the carefully-constructed and very scientific preceding 3 hours with utterly illogical bullshit. At which point I hated it.
@LordJohnWhorfin @MackReed Interstellar has really cool visuals and a generally interesting premise. As science and science fiction though, I'm completely convinced that it's horseshit.
@BigChrisDid I liked it when Looper, Back to the Future, Primer, Time Crimes, 12 Monkeys, The Terminator, and Predestination did it.
@stereoplex I'm with you on "Interstellar" I waited a long time to see it and might have built it up a bit too much but I was thoroughly disappointed when I finally sat down to watch it.
If you haven't see it yet "Coherence" does and interesting time-shift thing and "Time-Lapse" is another, slightly contrived, interpretations of the old time travel canard.

@stereoplex @LocalStain "Horseshit" was the precise word that popped to mind in the last 15 minutes of that movie. And it seemed insufficient at the time.
@jessamyn Ha! For a minute I thought you meant "Interstellar" for the PS2, and wondered how they made a non-trite game out of *that* movie. Got it now. The thing I love(d) most about the arcade version, though, was the sweetly-weighted spinner knob – I can't imagine anyone's built a dedicated PS2 controller like that?
Also, I have a sudden urge to find a functioning arcade Tempest and play the crap out of it.
