and also I have a new client that likes to rip my glasses off of my face for fun and these are my most favorite, so I am documenting them, just in case.
@jonson : Haha, thanks for translating. I was all, "What? I don't need help anymore! I told you the crazy is on it's way out!". The struggle is real for literalists.
@sirhc : Who? Xylene tryna get a lil internet slide piece? Or am I totally misunderstanding everything as usual? Also, having the next sentence begin with Dogs directed my mind to the age-old, 'men are dogs'…I blame relational frame theory.
@jaymayday, it's XYLENE. Drunk posting not uncommon over on the 'secret side of mlkshk' (we'll have to get you over there one day). And, I thought about the dog reference as I was typing it--a slur on dogs for sure!!
@jonson I dunno, she doesn't look like she could support a structural truss, and I doubt her sound transmission coefficient is all that great. From strictly an architectural perspective, I'd give her about a 4/10.
Also, @BennyTheIcepick : I think it is so lame to take a few extra steps just to be rude to someone. Surely these words will deeply resonate with you and have a great effect :)
@jaymayday @BennyTheIcepick I was worried that might happen. Benny is NOT intending to be rude, that's an ongoing in-joke he has been running that I think I'm the sole audience of, where I will say some post looks attractive (like, a photo of a waterfall or a cool bit of architecture) and he will nitpick it for silly reasons and give it a low score. This is the first time the subject has been a person, where I jokingly said "you're so pretty" (making fun of xylene's comment) and Benny responded with his usual takedown. I promise you he didn't mean to attack your looks in ANY way at all, nor did he mean to be rude. Just an in-joke in the wrong place.
@jonson is absolutely right, and so are you. I probably shouldn't have said anything at all, but I thought that by including explicitly technical architectural jargon it would be clear that I wasn't actually talking about your appearance, but the fact that a human body makes a poor substitute for a structural architectural member. I was wrong and for that I apologize.
I give my original post and this subsequent apology a 1/10.
In rereading my response I don't think I went far enough. In case it wasn't abundantly clear, I detest the notion of rating a person's appearance, let alone rating a person based solely on their appearance. I overlooked the bit about you overcoming some major struggles and I realized all too late that I was infringing upon what must be a fragile recovery from some pretty nasty shit. I sincerely apologize for any damage I did to your progress. I assure you my comment was in its entirety about my inside joke with jonson and has absolutely zero bearing on you, your appearance, your personality, or your struggle. That said, it was entirely unfair of me and in utterly poor taste, and for that I am deeply sorry.
@BennyTheIcepick : Hi! It's all good, it was just a misunderstanding. And even when I thought you were being insulting, no progress was thwarted :) I am glad to find out that you're not a dick that goes around rating women on some architectural scale. Have a nice day!
I dunno, she doesn't look like she could support a structural truss, and I doubt her sound transmission coefficient is all that great. From strictly an architectural perspective, I'd give her about a 4/10.
@jaymayday
I'm so petty! I'm beyond help!
I give my original post and this subsequent apology a 1/10.
