Long bet: I think there's gonna be some really interesting results out of linguistics in the next couple decades looking at feedback loops and language change as result of the increasing presence of autocorrect and typo prediction/mitigation in computing devices.

My tech integrator and I were looking for something recently, and when google didn't give us any results after typing in keywords, we thought of the dumbest possible related question, typed that in verbatim, and the first result was what we were looking for. It was infuriating.
