Looks good, I'm a big fan of a proper period-correct remodel.
Separate shower, or did you figure out a good way to use the clawfoot for both? We had one in a rental, the tiny little shower curtain ring meant you got to wear the curtain until I held it in place with old hard drive magnets.
@cwhartman unfortunately our house has no period-appropriate bathroom solutions as houses of its period and class didn't have them. In this bathroom, though, we are going mostly 20s-30s. The central light fixture, which came with the house, is a bit later, but I love it. In the other, super tiny bathroom we've completely given up and have no strong period presence, though the sink and tiling is kinda 30s-40s. It has a stall shower.
For the pictured tub we bought a hand shower with no curtain ring, particularly tricky with kids, but we get by. It's the longest tub I've ever used. It is fanatic. Due to turns in the stairwell, it must have been brought into the second floor with a crane through a wall. Someone really, really wanted a tub this nice. It'll be nice to have it in a pleasant room at last.
@artwells Very nice, that's a good direction to go for decorating in that situation- it's plausible the bathroom looked like that once upon a time. And won't look outdated in 30 years, which is better than most of the high modern bathrooms people go for these days. I'm lucky enough to have a 1906 upper-middle class house of a fairly nonspecific style, so any period basics up through the 40's look right.
Good you have a standalone shower, that solves the biggest problem with the clawfoot. The one we had was fantastic for taking a bath in, lots of room and the water stays warm for a long time.
