Pictured here is the Crosley Radio Corporation, home to WLW, or at the time "the Nation's Station." It was the most powerful broadcasting station in the world in the 1920's with a 500,000 watt transmitter. It has been said that the station was so strong, people could actually hear broadcasts through the gutters on their homes.

Powel Crosley, Jr., the revolutionary creative genius behind it all, was also the leading radio manufacturer in the entire world by making expensive radios affordable for all consumers.
